Laser Hair Removal treatments have become extremely popular since 1997 when the American Food and Drugs Administration FDA deemed the treatments to be safe and effective.  However the FDA doesn't allow Laser Hair Removal to be labelled 'Permanent Hair Removal' as the nature of the technology means it works less well with fine and light coloured hair.
