Nutrition plays an immensely important part in how we can get the most out of life.  What we eat impacts on how much we weigh, how well we resist the ageing process, and how we can have the best possible skin.  To extend the care we can offer you we have been researching the optimum eating plans to complement our treatments and to give you an insight into which foods really contribute to healthy eating.

We are suggesting 3 eating plans:

(1) The Seasonal lifestyle eating plan – for everyone who wants to shake off the negative effects of the modern ‘on demand’ diet.

(2) The Radiant Skin Eating Plan – a crash diet with the emphasis on creating the most radiant skin.  Perfect for the days before that big event

(3) The Weight Loss Eating Plan – for clients on the SkinGenesis Mesotherapy Fat Reduction Programme.  Lose those inches naturally, from the places you want to, in just 7 weeks.

The same philosophy runs through each of them.  A balanced low carbohydrate diet that is good for controlling weight is also good at combating ageing and helping you towards a clearer skin.  Sugar is ‘public enemy number 1’ as it is a prime cause of inflammation, cell deterioration, and fat storage.  Along with sugar, all ‘bad’ carbohydrates are villains of the modern western diet, and our eating plans aim to avoid these whilst providing a balanced diet.

Our Seasonal Lifestyle Eating Plan is based around seasonal fresh food.  By definition these foods are not processed and contain no, or very low levels of, carbohydrates, or ones that only convert to glucose more slowly.  On this eating plan you will be able to avoid peaks and troughs in your blood glucose level, and will be protected from those hard to resist munchies, making it much easier to eat less yet not feel hungry!  The importance of supplements at different stages of our lives is also addressed


The Radiant Skin Eating Plan highlights those foods that are massively beneficial for your skin and features foods high in protein and essential fatty acids (EFA’s) - nutrients necessary to transport vitamins to nerves, cell membranes, and blood vessels.

The Weight Loss Eating Plan is more strictly focused on eliminating, or severely restricting, the intake of any carbohydrates for a limited time to ensure that the fatty acids that are released into the blood stream by the treatments are burnt up before they deposit themselves again around your thighs, waist and bottom.
