Men Say No to the Knife!

The skin treatment experts at SkinGenesis have revealed that 19% of visitors to their non-surgical clinics are men, over double the national average.

In 2007, the number of men choosing cosmetic surgery rose by 14.9% according to BAAPS, the British Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. SkinGenesis reported a rise of 20% over the same period, showing the number of men looking at non-surgical options is rising faster than those considering surgery.

According to Peter Beard , Director of Treatments at SkinGenesis, there are a number of reasons men prefer a less invasive approach.
