Leeds Business Recognised for Online Success - March 2008

Leeds skin treatment company SkinGenesis, one of the region's online success stories, has been chosen by Google to highlight how small and medium sized businesses can take advantage of search engine marketing to reach new customers and new markets.

SkinGenesis director, William Haseldine, will feature in an advertising campaign across Leeds and Yorkshire, highlighting the way he has successfully leveraged Google AdWords to develop and grow his business.

SkinGenesis, a non-surgical cosmetic clinic with headquarters in Leeds City Centre and with clinics along the M62 has been using search marketing to drive internet traffic to specific pages on its website.

Google AdWords, the targeted advertising programme which allows advertisers to bid to appear alongside relevant search queries, now accounts for nearly half of the unique new visitors to the SkinGenesis site every month.

SkinGenesis applies an innovative approach to its business plan, from using the latest technology for its treatments through to its forward thinking marketing campaigns. Search marketing allows them to communicate directly with customers within its target areas, so it can implement measurable, local campaigns.
