Julia Brings Skin Revolution to Cheshire - August 2007

Julia Knightley, Clinic Manager at skin treatment specialist SkinGenesis in Cheshire , has brought a revolutionary new skin treatment into the area.

Julia, who is a Registered General Nurse, has recently completed her training in the delivery of Amelan (Dermamelan), a radical treatment that gets rid of dark marks caused by pigmentation. These can be caused by hormone changes, commonly known as Melasma or Chloasma, and affects around 2% of the population. The Dermamelan Depigmentation treatment has been cited as the most effective way of reducing these marks and inhibiting their return.

The Amelan treatment programme, which is currently only delivered by a small number of clinics, comprises of in-clinic treatments and an at-home care pack. This two-pronged approach to reducing pigmentation is very effective, leaving many women comfortable in their skin for the first time in years.

Julia’s training took place at the prestigious London Clinic of Dermatology, and has provided her with excellent experience in Amelan delivery.
