SkinGenesis elves spreading goodwill this Christmas

Staff at Manchester based SkinGenesis swap their clinical uniforms for festive elf outfits.  On 16th December, staff from SkinGenesis will be presenting local charity ‘When you wish upon a star’ with a cheque which will go towards the funding for some of the wishes.

Patients from the Manchester-based clinic, a skin treatment clinic which provide effective, affordable, non invasive, safe and natural treatments to correct skin flaws, rejuvenate skin and get rid of unwanted hair, have been helping staff to raise funds for the charity via a referral system set up by the clinic.

The charity fulfils the wishes of children with life threatening and terminal illnesses.  These children suffer debilitating conditions, long periods in hospital and some times painful treatments.  The charity, which has been set up since 1990, has now granted over 5000 wishes.

The highlight of each year is to charter 4 planes to take 400 terminally ill children, to Lapland to meet me in person. I have seen the Charity at work and have spent unforgettable moments with the children they have brought to Lapland.
