DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR LEEDS SKIN AND BODY CLINIC

SkinGenesis, the specialist skin treatment clinic with branches in Leeds and Manchester, celebrates its second birthday this month, and goes from strength to strength.

With more than 2000 clients through the doors since opening its clinic in Duncan Street in Leeds in April 2003, they hope to double up on its success with their latest clinic in Manchester, which opened in July last year.

Last quarter’s growth figures show revenues are up 400 per cent year on year, and there are 200 clients undergoing treatment at each clinic at any one time.  The company also achieved Investors in People accreditation in March this year.

The company was set up by Peter Beard, Emma Parrish and William Haseldine, and they now employ 13 staff across the two sites. The company offers treatment for both men and women ranging from Microdermabrasion, which rejuvenates tired skin and stimulates collagen production, IPL for photo rejuvenation and hair removal, and Eporex Mesotherapy for cellulite treatment and stretch mark removal and targeted fat reduction.

This is their newest and most innovative treatment which stimulates the break up of solid fat in specific areas of the body and speeds up weight loss when used in conjunction with a low carbohydrate diet and exercise.

“This is bringing excellent results for our clients” said Peter.  “It is as effective a liposuction, but at a quarter of the price and with no risk, no scarring, no lumpy after-effects and treatment can be carried out during a lunchtime.”

Said Will: “We have achieved phenomenal success in our two years in Leeds.  It proves there is a real demand for specialist treatment of this kind.  We are not a beauty salon – our Leeds clinic is managed by Lynn Wilcox, who is a nurse, and all our treatments use the latest technology, but without invasive surgery.”

“We are also committed to giving back something to the local community, and have made donations and supported local charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust at St James’s, Wish Upon a Star, Marie Curie, Childline and the Laura Crane Trust among others,” said Marketing Director Emma Parrish.
