Lights, camera, action! Peter on his way to the A-List!
Last month, our Director of Treatments, Peter Beard, gained local celebrity status after a successful appearance on TV in Manchester.
Peter, along with a SkinGenesis specialist and a willing volunteer, provided the viewers of Channel M with a demonstration of the Expert Skin Analysis service.
As a cosmetic industry expert, Peter gave advice and guidance to the people of Greater Manchester on how to look after their skin and protect against the effects of time. In a bid to persuade people to really get to know their own skin, Peter highlighted the importance of using the correct products that suit their skin type.
Beauty creams amnesty extended following great success!
Our first ever beauty creams amnesty has been extended after a roaring success during the first month.
Following the successful launch of our Expert Skin Analysis service, which as you may know gives the most in depth view of your skin ever, we are encouraging more people to surrender their ineffective beauty creams and come in to see which creams would really suit them.
Understanding your skin has never been more important due to busy, stressful lifestyles, which eventually take their toll on your skin. Knowing the acidity (pH) of your skin is the key to knowing which treatments to select, so finding out the pH of the products you apply to your skin is also essential.
The majority of over-the-counter anti-ageing creams have an alkaline pH of 7 or above. However, the skin's pH should be acidic and the sustained use of alkaline products which break down the skin's natural acidity can lead to weaker, ageing skin.
This is why we are extending the opportunity for people to bring in their current moisturisers and anti-aging creams to get them and their skin tested by our expert specialists.
In return for surrendering your creams, we will devise a bespoke skincare plan for you, as well as offering 10% off our entire product range during October.
Penta-peptides... pro-retinol A... poly collagen peptides... co-enzyme Q10... So confusing!
Besides medical students, doctors and the top scientists of the world, how many people actually know what these are? How are you supposed to know which ingredients are right for you.
Why don't you take our poll and see how much you do know about these ingredients?
There is so much hype around what might be toxic and what is safe to use, people simply don't know which cream to choose. Reading the back of the bottle hardly ever helps and often people are left scared to use products that contain certain ingredients.
We are giving you the low-down on all things peptide and enzyme with our very own jargon buster. Once you have answered the questions to our poll, we will provide a brief explanation of what each one means and what effect it could have on your skin and wellbeing.
