Jargon Poll... The results are in
We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our anti-ageing creams jargon poll last month. The results were staggering with 89% of respondents saying that they did not know what one or more of the following words meant: Penta-Peptides, Coenzyme Q10, Marine Bio-Peptides, and Pro-Retinol A.

A potion of positive thinking from Peter Beard - don't let acne get you down
A frequently overlooked aspect of managing acne is getting yourself into the correct mental state. This involves having clearly visualised goals and being able to achieve a state of confidence so that you can enjoy life to the full. Goals should always be positive as they will be more motivating and achievable, because as you get nearer to your goal it will feel more attainable, giving you greater energy and enthusiasm. Negative goals have the opposite effect and as you get further from the state you are moving away from you are less motivated to continue. Being positive and confident will result in you looking positive and confident.
Peter has recently acquired a second home, namely the BBC studios in Leeds! Last month, our resident skincare expert Peter enjoyed a couple of stints on the radio, appearing first on BBC Radio Leeds' popular breakfast show, then a two hour guest spot on their evening show with Shourjo Sarkar. We would just like to thank Peter and the BBC for their hard work and we just hope Peter doesn't decide to leave us for a career in presenting anytime soon!
