The third SkinGenesis clinic is well and truly launched
This month we opened our third SkinGenesis clinic near Chester and we got the chance to show off our treatments to an invited list of local VIPs and residents.
The launch night took place at the new SkinGenesis clinic, part of the 10 BRIDGE CLINIC which is backed by England legend Michael Owen, ex-Liverpool player Richie Partridge and ex-Liverpool physio Mark Browes. 10 BRIDGE CLINIC offers an integrated approach to health and wellbeing including physiotherapy, personal training, homeopathic and alternative treatments and of course SkinGenesis. click here to read more...
Men's surgery figures on the increase
When we read in the news last week that the numbers of men choosing cosmetic procedures to improve their looks has increased drastically over the past 5 years, we were not surprised. After all, 40% of our clients are male and this has been steadily increasing since we first opened.
While 11% of people having cosmetic surgery are male, for non-surgical procedures the total is much higher, suggesting that more and more men are opting for non-invasive procedures which offer similar improvements to their appearance but are gained gradually and naturally over a course of treatments. click here to read more...
Jane Iredale day in Manchester
We're always keen to recommend products to our clients that we feel can really help their skin, and we've always believed that Jane Iredale make-up is one of the only cosmetic collections that can actually help your skin.
This month, we'll give you the opportunity to find out for yourself with a 45 minute session with one of Jane Iredale's best make up artists. Leah will be at our Manchester clinic on Wednesday 18th April to give you a makeover, as well as share her wealth of experience. Please call the clinic on 0161 831 7007 for more information or to book a place. We will ask you for a £15 deposit to secure a place but this is refundable against any two products bought.
The truth about your cosmetics bag
If you all tuned in to Horizon on BBC2 a couple of weeks back, then you will also have seen Professor Lesley Regan challenge the anti-ageing claims that the cosmetic industry confidently makes and that we, perhaps foolishly, believe!
Interestingly the professor, who has just turned 50, was keen to prove what really could substantiate the anti-ageing claim and aimed to explore what, if any cosmetics, could be clinically proven as worthy of a place in any beauty cabinet. click here to read more
