Focus On: Amelan

With the revolutionary Amelan (Dermamelan) now being offered at our Cheshire clinic (see picture below), this month we thought we’d tell you a bit more about its amazing effects.

Amelan is a radical treatment to help reduce skin pigmentation. Melasma, or Chloasma, affects at least 2% of the population, and is usually prompted by hormone changes. The Amelan treatment has been cited as the most effective way of reducing these marks. Pigmentation marks can have a huge effect on the sufferer’s self-confidence with Amelan providing a real reprieve for many women.

The treatment programme, which is currently only delivered by a small number of clinics, comprises a single in-clinic treatment and an at-home care pack. This two-pronged approach to reducing pigmentation is very effective, leaving many women comfortable in their skin for the first time in years.
