You'll probably be aware that for years, SkinGenesis™ has excelled in providing non-surgical treatments to its clients utilising a wide range of aesthetic treatments and products prescribed on an individual basis by its highly trained and qualified skin specialists. Many of our clients say that a hectic life style, stressful job and chaotic home life can still cause their skin to become unbalanced due to hormones caused by stress which are more than just skin deep. That's why we have developed our facial treatments, to include two brand new therapeutic facials.

The relaxing new treatments found on the NEW "SkinSpa" treatments list, have been introduced to offer you a relaxing experience, whilst treating your skin to a beneficial cocktail of ingredients delivered by the excellent Dermaquest™ products. With these spa facials you will leave the clinic feeling stress-free with the added bonus of healthy glowing skin that most beauty and spa facials cannot achieve.

With both of the following facial treatments, a thorough consultation and skin assessment will be carried out prior to treatment - only products specific to your individual skin care needs will be used:

***CLINICAL EXPERT CONDITIONING FACIAL – 30 minutes***

This mini booster treatment will remove superficial dry dead skin cells to reveal a healthy glowing complexion. A great pre-party treatment or simply a taster facial to sample to delights of what Dermaquest™ has to offer. An intensive treatment mask will be applied whilst you drift away underneath a relaxing lavender eye pillow and listen to gentle music. This treatment can be enjoyed as often as you need and can be used as a preparation treatment for those wishing to carry on to have peels.

***CLINICAL EXPERT SKIN THERAPY FACIAL – 60 minutes***

As with the conditioning facial, this treatment offers deep cleansing, exfoliation, mask, serums and moisturiser. This hour long stress relief treatment also includes a relaxing massage on the face, neck and décolleté. This massage will increase circulation and lymphatic drainage in the facial tissues to induce and promote nutrients to the skin, feeding it from within. Dark circles puffiness and water retention may also be reduced. A treatment for the health and wellbeing of your skin.

On Friday 3rd September we moved out from the 2nd Floor clinic in Duncan House, Leeds, that we have occupied since founding SkinGenesis way back in 2003.

But regular clients needn't worry that we've moved far - we are now settling in to a new clinic on the 1st Floor of the same building!

The reason for the move was to gain more treatment rooms. The new layout, with 4 dedicated treatment rooms, means we can double the number of clients we help each week - a vital factor as our range of non-surgical skin treatments continues to expand.

<<<… and finally, well done to our Chester Clinic client, Naomi Heap, who won the 2^nd runner up’s award and a prestigious contract with the Impact Model Agency.

In an exciting development for us, we have today agreed to sponsor some awards at the 2010 Top Model UK finals in London in March.  The Bare Skin Awards (catchy, yes?) will go to the models with the best tone and natural skin clarity in each of the 3 categories.

This means we'll have to be there early in the day to see the contestants without their makeup on and we're drawing straws to see who will have the arduous job of chatting with each of them and having a good look at their skin!  

Spread over 2 days, the finals are the culmination of a nationwide process that started back in september 2009 with regional competitions to find the UK's Top Model in 3 different categories - 'Runway and Editorial', 'Classic' and 'Commercial'.  Not to be confused with reality show 'Britain's Next top Model', Top Model UK is the industry event of the year.

We're still working on the details, including the Bare Skin Award prizes.  With the finals just a few weeks away, there's plenty to do and so there will be regular news updates.

Our involvement goes beyond these awards though, as one of our Chester clients is competing!  Naomi Heap, who was crowned Miss Chester in 2009, was encouraged to enter TopModelUK and has done very well to get to the finals.  As we work with her to get her skin in tip top shape, I'll be blogging about her progress in the Skin Treatment Blog.
